Plants and Floral Arrangements are Their Specialty; Kindness is Their Virtue

Stopping Divine Occasions in Little Valley looking for a plant was a green thumb experience, after talking the garden talk I walked out with three healthy specimens and a special order the girls were happy to place.

When Annette Andrew and Desiree Goodenow decided to open a florist shop, they searched for a comfortable location, finding a large space 100 Main Street in Little Valley available. There the two decided to set up shop. Divine Occasions is a comfortable spot, where one can stop and smell the roses.

With first hand knowledge of the communities’ needs, and fully aware that a flower shop standing alone in Little Valley would not survive, Divine Occasions incorporated a Tuxedo Junction Tux Rentals (with door to door pick and delivery available); a chocolate shop that carries Asher’s Chocolates; gifts, and a coffee bar where folks can sit a spell, have dessert or simply chew the fat. In fact the shop has a schedule of groups that meet on a weekly basis, some as early as 8 am. This coming spring summer annuals, and hanging baskets will be available for purchase.

Starting soon; on Friday nights Divine Occasions will have live entertainment for your listening pleasure.

Historic Little Valley New York, the Cattaraugus County seat is just over the hill a mere six miles from the Village of Ellicottville.
