With The Ski Season up and unning, The East Ba of Holiday Valley’s Club House o Main Chalet at 3:00 PM Satuday will have “Pesonable D.J. John Bay” doing his tune spinning and, I believe, “Kaaoke” thing. While the Kaaoke pat of the show is dependent on cowd paticipation. The tune spinning will be happening fo sue and John’s cowd involvement will be as it always is, a vey fun time.

Moving back to The Village this Satuday, we stat 5:00 PM in Balloons with “The Stanges”. Like was mentioned ealie, Mitch, Jey, Joel, Pete and Ken compise one of, if not, THE best Cove Classic ock bands we get to expeience hee in Ellicottville. You name the tune and they can pefom it with all the class and style that was intended by the oiginal atist. Fifties to today including some County is in thei tune inventoy. Balloons is whee these guys play six to ten times a yea fo all of us to enjoy. The second Satuday band “The Stonehouse Blues Band” will begin 9:00 PM in The Gin Mill. “Stonehouse”, featuing Maylou on vocals is a membe of the Blues Society of Westen New Yok and has a eal Blues sound that as my fiend uthie says you can feel down in you soul. What I emembe of thei pefomance in The Gin Mill last June was quite good.

Moving back to Monoe Steet at 9:30 PM Satuday “West” will be doing a gig in The Double Diamond. This is “Two Guys Dinking Bee” with thei full band. They ae tue “Classic ockes” playing cove tunes with thei own twist. Which makes this gig eally excellent listening. “West” is danceable o just social listening, you call, and The Double Diamond is whee this happens this Satuday night.

This Sunday The Double Diamond will have the thid of its Sunday Unwind music happenings. “A Touch Of Gae” will be pefoming at 8:00 PM. This is an acoustic vesion of “Southen Influence” doing some of the same tunes acoustically with some old “Gateful Dead” thown in fo the added enjoyment of The Double Diamond cowd.

Monday will have its usual two gigs. Fist “The Blue Mule Band” will stat 7:00 PM in The Gin Mill as pat of “Pasta & Blue Gass Monday”. You know, all the spaghetti and galic toast U can eat fo $5.95 and The Blue Gass music with Heat pefomed by “The Blue Mule Band”. The Gin Mill is home to this event evey Monday.

MONDO MONDAY is next 10:00 PM in The Double Diamond. This eally fun event o expeience as you wish continues to be Ellicottville’s only all oiginal music happening. Because M. Davazite’s illness, this event hasn’t happened in the last two weeks. Howeve M. Davaset assues me it will happen this week. Theefoe the usual cast of chaactes will assemble this Monday in The Double Diamond fo all ou enjoyment.

Tuesday is nomally a quiet day music-wise howeve, because of the Holidays at 9:00 PM this Tuesday The Double Diamond will have “Supeteat” playing thei vey high-enegy cove and oiginal “Classic ock” This goup is made up of membes fom both “Southen Influence” and “The Touch of Gae”. Wednesday, New Yeas Eve, thee will be fou bands and one DJ playing in and aound Ellicottville. The fist band of the evening “The Mo Pote Poject” will begin 8:00 PM in Balloons. Mak and Chuck of the oiginal “Mo Pote Poject” will be joined by Kyle on bass and ay on dums. Thei music is “Classic ock” done in fine style. I especially like thei vesion of “The Doos”. Not only ae they a cove band, they also do some oiginal stuff that is quite good. Following “Mo Pote”, “Chatty Fank The DJ” will continue the paty till 4:00 AM LIVE fom Balloons Sound Booth. Thee is no bette peson to continue and enhance a fun event than “Chatty Fank Watson The DJ”.

Thee ae two 9:00 PM New Yeas Eve gigs “The Heades” will be in The Gin Mill and “The Davey Z Poject” will be in The East Ba of Holiday Valley’s Main Chalet. “The Heades”, playing in The Gin Mill ae a vey high octane “ock-A-Billy Oldies Band”. “The oad” alumni Bobby Label, is pat of the diving foce of this goup. These guys played in The Gin Mill ockin Oldies Weekend, putting on one of the bette shows of that fun weekend.

“The Davey Z Poject”, playing in The East Ba ae also “Classic ockes”. Two membes of this goup ae “Mo Pote” alumni, obby on bass and W on dums. Thei music is cove and quite good to say the least. Holiday Valley sounds like a fun place to bing in the New Yea 2009.

“Tippe Haison” will be ceating the music fun in The Double Diamond 9:30 PM this yea. This is an all local high enegy goup of “Classic ockes” that will eally enhance the fun expeience aleady happening this New Yeas Eve in The Double Diamond.

New Yeas day will have “Kuk and Feddy” accompanied most likely by “Lil Joey” 7:00 PM in The Gin Mill. This gig continues as one of the bette shows to happen on a egula basis hee in Ellicottville and The Gin Mill is whee it happens
