This is a relaxing but inspiring course for beginners and intermediate artists who want to explore new dynamics and remove the intimidation factor which inhibits them from creating. Art novices encouraged!

MASTER WORKS (adult)
By using portions of the Masters painting we will learn about what distinctive dynamics it takes to create like a Master. You will learn about the use of color, composition, values, brush strokes and more to experience these qualities first-hand. These different techniques can then be applied to your own future works.
No art experience required.
MANDALA PAINTING (adult)
The word Mandala comes from the Eastern culture and means “circle”. It represents wholeness and the way things relate together. It can be our circle of life, friends, family, community and the way our emotions tie into all of these. We will learn to paint Mandalas from our own personal experiences, and we’ll find out more about ourselves. This class will also incorporate some expressive writing for inspiring our works.
This is a pleasant, stress relieving class that you will truly enjoy. No art experience necessary !
NATURAL PRINTMAKING (adult)
Explore this easy but professional form of art-making. We will use different materials and techniques to create beautiful prints with items that we obtain from nature, like leaves, flowers, fruits, etc.
We will be printing directly from these natural objects and we’ll print on beautiful note cards, papers, fabrics, or pages for your scrapbooks. You will also learn how to embellish these prints to make them even more creative and ornate.
