Packing Day for Project Christmas
By Josh Bower, ECS Student Writer (12/19/2008)
Christmas time is a wonderful time of the year for many around the world. But some families in this area are not fortunate enough to participate in this magnificent holiday. They may need assistance in buying gifts or feeding their families a good meal. That is where Project Christmas comes into play. When asked about Project Christmas, Mr. Hall, a teacher at Ellicottville Central School and a Project Christmas volunteer, said: “It’s about community.”
If you would like to help the less fortunate families in our area this Christmas, please drop off a donation of a canned good or non-perishable food item to our school. The school’s Student Council and National Honors Society also support this great cause. You can contact the school at 716-699-6335 for more donation information.
