Vocalist Meg Johnston
to Perform for Project Christmas

December 6 in Tips-Up Café’s 7:00-9:00 PM
In the Sprit of the Season Ken and Judy Rousch have donated their upstairs dining room of Tip’s Up Café for a “Project Christmas” benefit featuring Soloist Meg Johnson with accompanying pianist, the talented Jim Ieda. The two will fill the room with the sounds of season. Meg, a senior at ECS, is a gifted Mezzo Soprano, who is thrilled to give of her voice, for the local charity that has strong ties to her school and Community.

Meg is no stranger to the stage and has acquired quite a repertoire of past musical engagements including singing with the Southern Tier Symphony. Meg has been performing at other charity events in recent months including the Michael Kerns “Stars for Youth” ball, the Great Valley Methodist Church “Raise the Roof” campaign, and at Five Star Bank Celebration. Meg who loves to sing Jazz, also performed at the Ellicottville Gazebo for Jazz Festival in August. This Sunday Meg will be performing as a singer/dancer in “Amahl and the Night Visitor”; a production that Jim Idea will also be playing in.
Stop in to Tip’s, as we locals call it for a respite from the hustle and bustle of shopping. Take pleasure in listening to the Christmas Carols while spreading tidings of Comfort and Joy, all the while helping to make the season bright for the needy families in our area.

$ 5.00 donation at the door: all proceeds going to “Project Christmas” a local charity that helps local families during the holidays.
