A group of 55 kindergarteners at ECS were introduced to Katy the Snowplow by the NYSDOT. The interactive program teaches caution and safety by introducing the children to the large snowplow. The children were enthralled with being able to actually walk under the plow and sit in the driver’s seat of the large truck. Each child also received a bright yellow safety helmet.

The Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that as a result of this years Fall Festival, donations to local charitable organizations totaled over $7,000. With great weather and large crowds, most believe that this was the biggest event in the history of the 34 year old festival. From parking cars to helping with clean up and numerous other activities we hope all local organizations and business’s benefited from this, the Chamber of Commerce’s largest festival. The Ellicottville Chamber’s Christmas in Ellicottville Committee would like to thank the Wingate by Wyndham for their generous donation to help make this year’s event the best ever. Christmas in Ellicottville is scheduled for November 28th to 30th with a full schedule of events on the Chamber’s website www.ellicottvilleny.com.
