Rocktoberfest Proceeds Benefit
Community Organizations

For many years the Kerns family has been at the forefront in supporting worthy causes in the Ellicottville community.

Their generosity continues, this year’s proceeds from admission fees at the annual Rocktoberfest were donated by owner Michael Kerns to The Rotary Club of Ellicottville (sponsors of the event), Ellicottville Central School and The Ashford Hollow Foundation.

From Friday evening through late Sunday afternoon a total of 11 bands drew thousands of visitors to the “big tent” behind Balloons. Volunteers from Rotary and friends of Rotary in conjunction with volunteers from ECS worked through the weekend collecting the $5.00 per person entry fees.
The $4,000. donated to the Rotary Club will go towards The Rotary Club of Ellicottville Foundation for Youth, the $3,000 donated to ECS will be used to support Sports Programs at the school, the $2,000 Ashford Hollow Foundation received will help support youth programs at their facility.
