The Ellicottville Village Flag

Pictured is The Ellicottville Village Flag; holding the flag is Town Supervisor John Burrell, Andree McRae, Carol Gifford, and Village Mayor Charles Coolidge. The flag will be placed with the New York State flag next to the Veterans Monument in front of the Town & Village Hall.

Created in memory of the late Bob McRae, this flag was designed as part of a design competition. Ellicottville resident Carol Gifford created the award winning design. Andree McRae said of the flag, “It depicts the Ellicottville that Bob loved.”

The McRae/Jackson family would like to thank Mayor Coolidge for resurrecting the Village flag as it is an important symbol of the spirit of the Village.
